Violent Lips

I knew it wouldn't be long before something like this came out. Jessie J has definitely started a trend with her dramatic lips (you can see my post here) and now you can buy your very own designs for your lips with this stick on tattoos at violent lips. I first came across this on Pecan Pie Blog, I think they are pretty eccentric but would probably be quite fun for fancy dress. They look quite easy to apply, maybe a bit fiddly but no more than fake eyelashes. Jessie J has usually has her lips done for performances and tv appearances. I don't think they are very convenient for daily use, I don't see how you would be able to eat or drink with them on! I find it hard enough with lipstick! Check out the Violent Lips website here, there are many designs to choose from. http://www.violentlips.com/

Longest Halloween Weekend Ever

I made the most of my weekend in Bristol, and went to see my sister Sophie too. This halloween felt like the longest one ever, as celebrations went on over the whole weekend! On the monday night Sophie was promoting an event in Bristol which we all went along to. Again, pretty lame with the outfit on my behalf, last minute devil ears was all I had! Sophie's friends however went to much more effort! My favorite was the Mad Hatter and Avatar!

Halloween Inspiration

Wish I had had time to get a proper halloween outfit sorted this year. Below are a few things I found on the net but I didn't have the time to do. Nail art and face paint would have looked way better, even if they are time consuming. Ah well, there is always next year. 1. Dia de los Muertos, 2. Sugar Skull, 3. Halloween Nail Art, 4. Splatter Nails.

Dia de los Muertos

For halloween this year, I went down to see my friends from Bristol. Since I have been working lots recently I didn't get much chance to prepare an outfit so I was pretty lame this year and went as a witch. My friend Alice however became the make up artist for the night with her mexican dia de los muertos inspired halloween face paint. Halloween in mexico is a day of remembrance, celebration,  and happiness. We definitely had a lot of fun that night and I think everyone looked really good.

Monday

Habibis

How stunning was Sophie Habibis this weekend on the X factor? Her make over transformation was one of the best out of the 16 finalists, her dark hair and fringe really suit her face and bring out her eyes. Her gold eyeshadow was stunning, her eyes looked huge, and to top it off she has the most beautiful voice, singing a Katy Perry cover. Watch her performance here http://youtu.be/fshrfvlhzG8?hd=1&t=8s. Definitely one of my favorites in the competition. Was really sad to see James Michael leave last night, X factor is getting so harsh!

Jessie's Lip Art

Jessie J is starting to get known for her dramatic make up, and unusual outfits. I am loving the make up artist that has been creating her studded and painted lips, I think its really unique. I wonder how long it will be before I see people walking down the street with crazy coloured lips. Nail art has caught on, maybe it won't be long until lip art is fashionable. http://jessiejofficial.com/
