What a lovely hot day! After enjoying a delicious BBQ in the garden i made some lemon cupcakes with my mum. They taste lovely! And they have cheered me up after watching a rubbish england match.

I painted my mum and sisters nails today after work. Sophie wanted england flags ready for the match tomorrow and i did little ladybirds for mum. They look so cute. Crystal Palace Diving Team

Im back working with Crystal Palace diving team over summer which is great. The divers are doing really well. I am currently designing a little club newsletter to send out to all the divers to congratulate them on their achievements in previous competitions the last couple of months.

Nail art

So i started playing around with my nail polish today, and experimented with these new nail art pens my mum had bought. They are really quite tricky to do but was fun. Big-Ass book of Crafts

I have been quite busy recently moving out and packing for the new house, and im also back at work at the diving club. But when i get some free time i can't wait to start making things from this new book my friends got me for my birthday! My mum is quite excited by it too and wants some inspiration for her craft club!

Quilts at the V&A

I went to the quilts exhibition at the V&A today. It was only a quick visit as i had work in the afternoon and my friend Becki ended up getting lost on the tubes! You can't take any photos inside but there were free booklets at the entrance. The quilts were so detailed and beautiful. I want to pop back to look around again. On the way back i couldn't resist having a look in the gift shop and ended up buying a couple more buttons! These ones are ceramic, they are lovely!

Fancy Dress Friday

My friend Alice received her T in the Park ticket yesterday, not long now! very exciting! The Fancy dress friday theme this year is going to be the 'Mad Hatters Tea Party', brilliant theme i think! I have been looking online for some inspiration. Im thinking elaborate face paints and a massive hat! My friend Ellie wants to go as Alice in wonderland, and Alice is thinking of being the queen of heats or a playing card. I still haven't seen the new Tim Burton version of Alice in wonderland, going to watch it when it comes out, despite all the bad reviews i have heard. I love Tim Burton's work so I'm sure i'll love it!

Florence!

Seeing Florence and the machine was an amazing end to a great day in Cardiff. She played in Cooper field, Cardiff castle grounds where the Summer ball festival is being held. It was such a great venue, it was like being in a mini festival! The stage and tents was huge, it looked like a circus! There were also huge bar areas and funfair rides. It has made me very excited for T in the Park this year!

Buttons

A trip to Cardiff

Had a really lovely day in Cardiff with the girls. Was really nice to go down all the arcades and look at the lovely shops. Thankfully the sun stayed out for us. This window display for all saints is amazing! Must be a very expensive display!
