Button Cookies

How cute are these little button biscuits! I can't remember where I found this image, I think I stumbled across it on http://pinterest.com/ They look really simple to make so might have to try some baking again soon! I know my friend Ellie will absolutely love these, she is a tad obsessed with buttons!

I've Got Mail

I was very excited yesterday to receive my first post in the new house, it was a lovely little package from my friend jennie. She saw these beautiful hand made ceramic buttons in the gallery where she works back home in oxford and bought me a few. It was a great way to start my day, i love them. I'm starting to get a nice little collection of buttons now. its all Ellie's fault, she is obsessed with them!

Quilts at the V&A

I went to the quilts exhibition at the V&A today. It was only a quick visit as i had work in the afternoon and my friend Becki ended up getting lost on the tubes! You can't take any photos inside but there were free booklets at the entrance. The quilts were so detailed and beautiful. I want to pop back to look around again. On the way back i couldn't resist having a look in the gift shop and ended up buying a couple more buttons! These ones are ceramic, they are lovely!
