Little Girl and Tomcat

There has been a series of photographs trending on the internet recently from Andy Prokh of his four year old daughter Catherine and his Tomcat Lilu. The series shows the relationship between the two family members and what they get up to in the time they have lived together.

The photographs are cute and the compositions are really clever. The fact that the Tomcat Lilu plays along with the set up creates very funny photographs. I don't know how he had the patience to photograph Lilu, my cat never cooperates with me when I photograph her! The images rely a lot on timing and chance, capturing the images at the right moment as well as some photoshop trickery.

You can see more photographs on Andy Prokh's website. http://www.photodom.com/member/andy%20prokh

The Floss

So I wanted to test out my brand new lens at home, so naturally, I took photos of the cat! I just wish she would sit still for me! This blog is overloaded with photos of little Toulouse, so here is the first of my family's cat flossy. Its a shame the first one is a little out of focus, I'm still getting used to the zoom lens, you need to be quite a distance away from your subject. I love this first picture of the floss, it looks like she has a big white lion mane! She is such a funny little character.

Sunday

Bristol Times

Last weekend I went to visit everyone in Bristol. I was lucky and managed to book the whole weekend off, and it turned out to be an Autumn heat wave! I stayed with my sister Sophie over the weekend in her halls, it was weird being back, made me feel really old! I had the chance to visit the girls new house, and got to see little Toulouse again! I miss that little lady. Alice finally joined the world of mac, and we were very excited to listen to Ben Howard's new album, which by the way is amazing, a must have. We went out to celebrate our friend Rachel's birthday, and spent the weekend lazing around St Andrews park in the sunshine. Was a great weekend, and went far too quickly! I miss Bristol. Need to start planning my next visit.

Friday

I am Maru

The most famous cat in Japan! This video is so funny, I love how Maru just lays there with his legs spread out. Who knew a box could be so much fun.

Cone Head

Toulouse recently got neutered and has had to wear this stupid cone on her head! She looks so cute when she bumps into all the furniture and can't undertand why she doesn't fit into small spaces anymore! Photo by Stephanie Third http://stephthirdphoto.blogspot.com

New Tricks

Toulouse has been learning some new tricks!

Tuesday

Toulouse

I missed this little girl over the christmas holidays. But everyone is back in Bristol again now. Toulouse was enjoying lazing about on the sofa in the sunshine today while everyone worked on their deadlines around her. And again, i couldn't resist photographing her!

Saturday

Toulouse got a new toy

Crazy Cat

I knowww i need to stop taking photos of Toulouse but i just can't help it sometimes. Steph bought her some catnip the other day and she goes crazy on it! Trying to bite your fingers and wrestle your feet! Also, i tried out the new barry m nail effects polish with an orange base coat and it worked better this time. Might have to do it again for halloween.

Sunday

just can't help it

I don't think I will ever stop taking photos of toulouse, she is just so cute!

Wednesday

D.I.Y Expert

Yesterday Ellie and i put our D.I.Y expertise to the test when we built a side table and a big ikea desk for my room. Toulouse was very intrigued by our work and tried to help out too! It took practically all day, but at last i have a decent sized desk for my room. I will definitely be more motivated to do my uni work now.

Tuesday

Toulouse!

Toulouse is the newest member in the Cromwell house. She is a crazy cat, we spent over an hour today running around with a piece of string! She is still so tiny and soft, its really cute.
