Stunning illustrations by Australian artist Lani Paxton. Her designs portray the beauty of endangered animals and brings awareness of their delicate existance. I love the detail in the drawings combined with the colourful patterns in the background emanating from the animals. Lani chose to draw animals protected by the WWF to show what was 'most inspiring about the Earth's habitats and species and why we should all help them to thrive'.
"I chose the humpback whale from the list of endangered species as they are such beautiful majestic creatures. I added the splashes of colour to give the graphite illustration another dimension and add a fresh design approach. This technique is also intended to enforce a sense of beauty radiating from the animal."
