DigiLomo

Crafty and Simple, I just love this fun project by Joel Pirela. He has tried to recreate the tactile and unpredictable quality of a lomography camera using a custom built digital case. The photos are just how you would expect, gorgeous results that are blurry with light leaks. Below is an example of these soft focus photographs.

This project proves that you can build your own digicam. The only problem with this custom built case is that you need to unscrew the whole bottom plate to remove and recharge the batteries or get the SD card.. but Joel plans to adapt this using USB portals.

You can see the project here at Unplugged.

I am looking forward to see how they develop these DIY digilomo cameras in the future.
