This is an incredible project called the Brooklyn Space Program. This video records the journey of a balloon sent in to space! A HD camera and a iphone with GPS were attached to the balloon to keep track of its voyage. It reaches 100,000 ft from the gound before the balloon bursts and hurtles back down to earth. Amazingly it landed just 30 miles from take off. Watch the video in HD here and check out the website here. It has really inspired me with my photography project to put my pin hole cameras in weird and wonderful places!
